Welcome to The Garden Shop! We are a family-owned plant nursery and garden center in South City, St. Louis in the former Bayer’s Garden Shop.
Our well-versed staff has years of experience in gardening. Whether you want to start a vegetable garden, spruce up those flower beds or start a growing project indoors we’re here to help.
We knew we had a Bayer’s size hole to fill in South City and we feel like we’ve nestled in quite well. We've continued to make improvements on the property and retail space and we’re so excited about the future of this little garden shop.
Our goal is to pay homage to the legacy that Bayer's had in the South City community, with an updated perspective and offerings.

Our Vision
Our priority is to influence the community and help educate them on the importance of native plant varieties and landscaping methods. We aim to be the number one resource for gardening in the St. Louis community.
Supporting local and small is incredibly important to us as well. In addition to national brands, we will highlight and focus on showcasing local businesses that make this city great.
