Northern sea oats (Chasmanthium latifolium) is an ornamental grass. The feature of interest are the drooping seed heads in the fall, which ripple in the breeze and turn from green to light brown as they mature. The seed heads make a great winter food source for birds! Tolerant of wetter soils.
